Spinach Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

1 bag spinach 1 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 bag prepared lettuce 1 1/2 lb. fried bacon crumbled
1 head green leaf 1 lb. grated swiss cheese
1 purple onion 6 oz. toasted almonds
2 cans mandarin oranges

Tear lettuces and spinach. Add other ingredients. Just before serving add dressing.

Poppy Seed Dressing
1 1/2 C. sugar 1/4 C. white wine vinegar
1 1/2 C. oil 1/2 cup oil
3 T. poppy-seed

    Thanks for leaving out the purple onions! We appreciate that! Some things we can eat around, but NOT onions! I know, we are weird! (our families tell us all the time!)
